Basketball Game Preview: North Davidson Black Knights vs. West Davidson Dragons + Official Tickets

North Davidson is a perfect 10-0 against West Davidson since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Black Knights will head out to square off against the Dragons at 7:30 p.m. North Davidson has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 201 points over their last three games.

North Davidson is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Ledford on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Black Knights came up short against the Panthers, falling 77-56. The Black Knights have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

North Davidson's defeat came about despite a quality game from Grayson Rush, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. Rush is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Coen Miller, who posted five points.

Meanwhile, West Davidson earned a 55-48 win over Southwestern Randolph on Thursday.

West Davidson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Davidson, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

North Davidson strolled past West Davidson in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 54-36. Will the Black Knights repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
