Baseball Recap: Logansport Takes a Loss

Logansport came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to the Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 last Saturday.

Carson Dubes was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits.

Logansport's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

Logansport wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-4 win against Wabash on the 13th. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-2 victory against Fort Wayne Wayne on the 13th.
