Basketball Game Preview: Our Lady of the Rosary Lions vs. Charleston Collegiate Sundevils

The Our Lady of the Rosary Lions will square off against the Charleston Collegiate Sundevils at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Our Lady of the Rosary saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 49-36 to Laurens Academy.

Meanwhile, Charleston Collegiate played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 78-36 loss at the hands of Cathedral Academy. The Sundevils have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Our Lady of the Rosary will have to contain Grant Morrison as he made an impact in Charleston Collegiate's last game. He posted ten points along with six boards and four steals. Morrison has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 24 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Clayton Smith, who earned eight points.

Our Lady of the Rosary now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Charleston Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
