Basketball Recap: Gray-New Gloucester Takes a Loss

Gray-New Gloucester suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Tuesday. They lost 77-56 to the Mt. Ararat Eagles. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Gray-New Gloucester and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Mt. Ararat, they moved to 1-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Gray-New Gloucester will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Falmouth at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mt. Ararat, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Mt. Ararat Eagles challenge the Marshwood Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
