University Christian picks up sixth straight win at home

The University Christian Christians came tearing into Monday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Episcopal School of Jacksonville by a score of 56-49. The victory was all the more spectacular given University Christian's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Episcopal School of Jacksonville is ranked 38th).

Leading University Christian to victory were KING SANDERS and BRYANT BOYKIN. SANDERS scored 11 points, while BOYKIN scored 14 points. JUSTIN GIST was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

University Christian's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.

Hopefully Yulee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 last Friday.
