Gavin Williams leads St. Elizabeth to victory over Linn

Recap: St. Elizabeth Hornets vs. Linn Wildcats

Even though the Linn Wildcats scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the St. Elizabeth Hornets still came out on top. St. Elizabeth secured a 62-58 W over Linn. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Elizabeth.

It was another big night for Gavin Williams, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Wobbe, who scored 11 points.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Hall, who went 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 4 assists. Gus Peters was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.

St. Elizabeth's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Linn, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

St. Elizabeth will head out on the road to take on Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Elizabeth is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 61.5 points per game this season. As for Linn, they will play host again and welcome Tuscumbia, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Linn focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Friday.
