Richard Montgomery had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Katie Mitchell paced Richard Montgomery's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mitchell were helped by Ellyn Kim and Hannah Carter, who contributed nine assists each. Ellie Mitchell controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Richard Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Richard Montgomery wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Walter Johnson on the 13th. As for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, they will venture away from home to challenge Churchill at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
