Baseball Recap: Nocona Comes Up Short

Nocona fell victim to Petrolia and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Petrolia Pirates, falling 9-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Nocona and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Petrolia, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-4.

Looking ahead, Nocona will square off against Electra at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Petrolia, they will challenge Archer City at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
