Football Recap: Big Foot Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Big Foot's offense. They were dealt a 63-0 defeat at the hands of the Columbus Cardinals on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 20th).

Big Foot is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Columbus, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Big Foot is taking a road trip to challenge Horicon/Hustisford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Big Foot will be up against Horicon/Hustisford's rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.6 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Columbus, they will challenge Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Cardinals' offense will have their work cut out for them.
