Softball Recap: Westridge Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Westridge duked it out with Polytechnic on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 19-1. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Westridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Penelope De Csepel, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Westridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Polytechnic, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westridge will face off against rival Flintridge Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Polytechnic is set to take on their familiar foe Chadwick at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
