Softball Recap: T.C. Roberson Rams vs. North Buncombe Black Hawks
T.C. Roberson had lost five straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-6 to make it six. They came up short against the North Buncombe Black Hawks, falling 11-1. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Black Hawks from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
As for North Buncombe, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games.
For North Buncombe's part, Sadie Jo Hunter made a splash no matter where she played.
