After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Prince Edward County, Cumberland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 38-31 victory over the Lunenburg Central Chargers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 38-30 last Tuesday.

Cumberland's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Lunenburg Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Coming up, Cumberland won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rappahannock at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cumberland is facing Rappahannock at the right time seeing as Rappahannock is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Lunenburg Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
