Soccer Game Preview: Magee vs. West Lincoln + Official Tickets

The Magee Trojans will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the West Lincoln Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Magee made easy work of Perry Central and carried off an 8-1 victory. With Magee ahead 7-1 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Perry Central from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Rafeal Hernadez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, West Lincoln kept a clean sheet against McComb on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Tigers. The high-scoring effort was just what West Lincoln needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Magee now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Lincoln, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Magee came out on top in a nail-biter against West Lincoln in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
