Basketball Game Preview: Chariton Chargers vs. Knoxville Panthers

The Chariton Chargers are taking a road trip to take on the Knoxville Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chariton is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Chariton lost to Central Decatur on the road by a 45-26 margin.

Meanwhile, Knoxville didn't have quite enough to beat Davis County on Friday and fell 33-30.

Chariton's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Knoxville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Chariton beat Knoxville 36-28 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chariton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
