Softball Recap: Jeffersontown Chargers vs. North Bullitt Eagles

Jeffersontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the North Bullitt Eagles. Jeffersontown was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Bullitt apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2018.

For North Bullitt's part, Addison Ferguson was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. Ferguson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was MacKenzie Phillips, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Jeffersontown's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for North Bullitt, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jeffersontown will take on Atherton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Bullitt, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Breckinridge County at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
