Basketball Recap: Sussex Academy Comes Up Short

Sussex Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Lake Forest Spartans 56-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-19 back in December of 2024.

Sussex Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lake Forest, they moved to 7-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Sussex Academy has already played their next game, a 58-26 loss against Early College on the 23rd. As for Lake Forest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 60-13 win against Indian River on the 23rd.
