The Statesville Greyhounds will head out to square off against the Davie County War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Statesville is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 35 points back in September, they were much more limited against Lake Norman on Friday. He was instrumental in Davie County's win, rushing for 77 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries, while also throwing for 138 yards and one touchdown on only 12 passes. What's more, Nance racked up 133.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Braxton Bowling was another key player, rushing for 68 yards and two TDs on only nine carries.

Davie County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 223 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 94 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five contests they've averaged 163.3.
