High school player pulls off World Cup-caliber shot.

Not only did Josh Peloquin connect on one of the most impressive goals of the season, the Rider (Wichita Falls, Texas) midfielder won a district game in the process.

Peloquin's heroics came in a district game on Tuesday against Denton, with the score tied 2-2.

Denton attempted to clear the ball in the game's final seconds. Peloquin chipped the ball to himself to get free from a defender. Then, with the ball still in the air, he connected on a laser volley that sailed into the back corner of the net, as the final buzzer sounded.

A more impressive, timely goal at any level would be hard to come by.
