Unionville-Sebewaing lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Marlette, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Patriots took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 44-6 victory over the Red Raiders. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 22-20 loss the last time these two teams met.

Owen Kauffold went supernova, rushing for 70 yards and one score on only eight carries, while also catching one TD. Those 70 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Kauffold was just one part of a punishing run game: Unionville-Sebewaing was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 230 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marlette only rushed for 13 rushing yards.

Unionville-Sebewaing now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Marlette, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
