Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wes-Del). They put the hurt on the Randolph Southern Rebels with a sharp 16-1 win on Thursday. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 7.3 runs per game.

Devyn Jaycox made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Presley Durr was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those hits were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tori Ward, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Wes-Del was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .769. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
