Mountain View and Liberty squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Mountain View had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 71-54 to the Liberty Lions. The Toros' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Liberty's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stephan Miller, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jacob Hunter, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Liberty, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.

Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty, they will challenge Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69 points per game this season.
