It was a good run, but Long Island City unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bryant Owls by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Owls earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Long Island City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Bryant, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Long Island City is set to take on their familiar foe Aviation at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bryant will square off against rival Newcomers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
