Vienna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 68-38 loss at the hands of the Owensville Dutchmen. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Vienna lost, don't look at Alex Zimmer. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 11 on his way to 13 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Hunter Schwartze, who posted six points.

Vienna's record now sits at 9-9. As for Owensville, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Vienna has already played their next contest, a 69-44 victory against Calvary Lutheran on the 4th. Owensville has also already played their next game (against Hermann), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
