Basketball Game Preview: Ortonville Trojans vs. Ashby Arrows

The Ortonville Trojans will head out to face off against the Ashby Arrows at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses dating back to last season for Ortonville and 32 for Ashby dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Ortonville was beaten by Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 84-15. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Fighting Saints are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, Ashby came up short against Bertha-Hewitt on Saturday, falling 59-37.

Ortonville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ashby, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Ortonville came out on top in a nail-biter against Ashby in their previous matchup back in February, sneaking past 56-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ortonville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
