Volleyball Game Preview: Smoky Mountain Mustangs vs. Franklin Panthers

Smoky Mountain is 2-8 against Franklin since September of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m.

Smoky Mountain lost 3-0 to West Henderson on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Franklin had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Franklin took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-11.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Smoky Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
