Basketball Recap: North Linn Piles Up the Points Against Central City

North Linn was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Central City on Friday. The North Linn Lynx blew past the Central City Wildcats 77-50. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.

North Linn's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Central City, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Linn will host East Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Linn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully East Buchanan likes a good challenge. As for Central City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alburnett at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alburnett will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Central City surely won't give up without a fight.
