Volleyball Recap: Beth Eden Baptist Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Beth Eden Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Rocky Mountain Lutheran Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Sofia Meza-Villa, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last six matches.

Beth Eden Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Beth Eden Baptist is set to take on their familiar foe Victory Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain Lutheran will face off against rival Front Range Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
