Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rouse). They were the clear victors by a 16-3 margin over the Leander Lions on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Rouse's fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Leander, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-14-2.

Rouse wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 defeat against Lake Belton on the 12th. Leander has also already played their next contest (against Burnet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
