Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Shore). They blew past the Channelview Falcons 21-1 on Tuesday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Janelle Amador, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jolissa Ramirez, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.
Amador wasn't the only one making solid contact: North Shore kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
North Shore's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-11.
