Baseball Preview: Bethany Community Wolves vs. Atkins Camels
The Bethany Community Wolves will square off against the Atkins Camels at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bethany Community will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Last Wednesday, Bethany Community made easy work of Oak Ridge Military Academy and carried off a 14-2 win. Considering the Wolves have won eight contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Jacob Schick made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Ryan Rudd and Jesse Tucker did most of the damage at the plate: Rudd scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3, while Tucker scored three runs and stole five bases.
