Basketball Recap: Skyridge Comes Up Short

Skyridge lost against Lone Peak back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Skyridge Falcons fell 62-49 to the Lone Peak Knights. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Despite the loss, Skyridge still got an impressive performance from Ellah Oeser, who posted 16 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anaiya Nelson, who earned nine points.

It was another big night for Kennedy Woolston, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and eight boards for Lone Peak. Charli Warner was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Skyridge now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Lone Peak, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyridge will venture away from home to take on Lehi at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Skyridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season. Lone Peak has already played their next match (against American Fork), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
