Baseball Recap: Bishop Moore Has No Trouble Against Windermere

After losing to Windermere the last time they met, Bishop Moore decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hornets put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 8-2 win on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

JT Costello got the start for Bishop Moore and what a start it was: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Nate Davis and Tyler Lomas did most of the damage at the plate: Davis got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs and one triple, while Lomas went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Davis has posted since back in April of 2025. Gray Mosley was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Bishop Moore's record now sits at 2-0. As for Windermere, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Bishop Moore will be taking part in a tournament against Lake Howell at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Windermere, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Eustis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
