Volleyball Game Preview: Columbus Titans vs. Independence Bulldogs

The Columbus Titans will face off against the Independence Bulldogs on Thursday. Columbus is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Columbus came up short against Frontenac and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-3.

Meanwhile, Independence was able to grind out a solid win over Field Kindley on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Independence took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10.

The victory got Independence back to even at 16-16-1. As for Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 5-26-1.

Columbus couldn't quite get it done against Independence in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
