North Pemiscot won the last time they faced Cooter, and Cheyanne Sawyer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Sawyer, who had ten digs and seven aces. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last three times she's played.

North Pemiscot's victory bumped their record up to 9-2-1. As for Cooter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

North Pemiscot wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Gideon on the 18th. As for Cooter, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Holcomb on the 19th.
