Volleyball Recap: Marlboro County Comes Up Short

Marlboro County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dillon Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

Marlboro County's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dillon, they moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Marlboro County is set to challenge their familiar foe Loris at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dillon will face off against rival Aynor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
