Baseball Recap: Meadow Heights Wins Going Away Against Scott County Central

Meadow Heights won the last time they faced Scott County Central and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 15-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Hayes Miller was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Long, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Meadow Heights was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.

Meadow Heights now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Scott County Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Scott County Central will host Clarkton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meadow Heights will be paying especially close attention to the Braves' game: after the Braves face off against Campbell, they'll take on Meadow Heights again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
