Baseball Recap: Beckman Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

While Beckman's win against Costa Mesa wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Mustangs 5-4. Five seems to be a good number for the Patriots as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Beckman is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Costa Mesa, they moved to 13-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beckman will square off against San Clemente at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Costa Mesa, they will face off against Laguna Hills at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
