Softball Recap: Mansfield Summit Comes Up Short

Mansfield Summit's last matchup with Seguin could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. Mansfield Summit came up short against Seguin, falling 21-3. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Mansfield Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Seguin, they moved to 8-7 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Mansfield Summit will square off against Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Mansfield Summit's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Seguin, they will challenge Everman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seguin is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Everman a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.
