Lindbergh put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hazelwood West Wildcats an 18-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Flyers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.

Luke Fisher looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Ethan Cantareira was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jack Politte, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Lindbergh kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Lindbergh's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Hazelwood West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Lindbergh will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Howell at 4:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Hazelwood West, they will welcome Duchesne at 4:15 p.m. on the 31st.
