Volleyball Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Comes Up Short

Batesburg-Leesville lost against Mid-Carolina on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Rebels.

Kate Shealy paced Batesburg-Leesville's offense, picking up four kills. Shealy got some help from Molly Price and her six assists.

Batesburg-Leesville has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16-1 record this season. As for Mid-Carolina, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Batesburg-Leesville has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Clinton on the 20th. As for Mid-Carolina, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cardinal Newman on the 20th.
