Volleyball Preview: Verdugo Hills Dons vs. Poly Parrots
The Verdugo Hills Dons will venture away from home to challenge the Poly Parrots at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Last Monday, Verdugo Hills made easy work of Arleta and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dons.

Meanwhile, Poly posted their biggest win since September 9th on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Roosevelt with a sharp 3-0 victory.
Poly never let Roosevelt on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-19.
Verdugo Hills is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Poly, they pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.
