Basketball Recap: Franklin Regional Takes a Loss

Franklin Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 41-32 to the Gateway Gators. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Franklin Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Gateway, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

When Franklin Regional and Gateway next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Franklin Regional will try to stop South Fayette's six-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Gateway will square off against Greater Johnstown and their six-game winning streak at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th.
