Softball Recap: North Pitt Comes Up Short

North Pitt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to the West Carteret Patriots.

North Pitt saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Meeks, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

North Pitt's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Carteret, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Pitt will welcome Holmes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Pitt has given up an average of 15 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for West Carteret, they will host East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
