Baseball Recap: Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Classical Academy managed to slip by Bonita Vista the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Caimans came up short against the Barons on Monday, falling 16-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Caimans have suffered since April 11, 2024.

Aidan Suitor was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Trevor Hoff was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Classical Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Bonita Vista, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-7.
