Dynamic duo of Walter Gleason and Walker Jones lead Delphi Community to victory

Recap: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Eastern Comets
The Delphi Community Oracles fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They snuck past Eastern with a 44-39 victory on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given Delphi Community's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 410th, while Eastern is ranked 203rd).
Delphi Community was led to victory by Walter Gleason and Walker Jones. Gleason dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Jones scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Chase Almager, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Delphi Community's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Eastern, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.
Delphi Community will head out on the road to challenge Sheridan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastern, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clinton Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Prairie is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
