Basketball Recap: Gorham Takes a Loss

Gorham and South Portland squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Gorham had to settle for second. They fell 50-37 to the South Portland Red Riots. The Rams have struggled against the Red Riots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Gorham's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for South Portland, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Gorham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Portland, they will challenge Cheverus at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cheverus will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something South Portland surely won't give up without a fight.
