After losing to Century the last time they met, Zeigler-Royalton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tornadoes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Centurions on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tornadoes.

While Zeigler-Royalton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21.

Baylea Crain and Brycelynn Ledbetter certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Crain had 16 digs and one assist, while Ledbetter had 11 digs and one block. Crain is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Zeigler-Royalton's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Century, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Coming up, Century will be playing at home against Cobden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Zeigler-Royalton will be paying especially close attention to the Centurions' match: after the Centurions face off against Hardin County, they'll take on Zeigler-Royalton again at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
