Patterson won the last time they faced Mountain House and Dasen Pettis did his part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers claimed a resounding 49-13 victory over the Mustangs for which the team can thank Pettis, who rushed for 163 yards while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain House lost on Friday, don't look at Erin Foster. Despite the final result, he threw for 181 yards and two TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 102 yards on only 14 carries.

Patterson's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Mountain House, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Patterson has already played their next game, a 56-14 loss against Oakdale on the 10th. As for Mountain House, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-24 defeat against Manteca on the 10th.
