The Gramercy Christian Warriors and Ahoskie Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Gramercy Christian will head into Friday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point drubbing they dealt Bethel Christian Academy on Friday. Gramercy Christian was the clear victor by a 54-29 margin over Bethel Christian Academy. With the Warriors ahead 35-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Ahoskie Christian's win came from a few key players Gramercy Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lilly Lassiter, who went 7 of 17 on her way to 16 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kinsley Dunlow, who put up six points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Gramercy Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Gramercy Christian has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 26.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Ahoskie Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Gramercy Christian came up short against Ahoskie Christian when the teams last played back in February, falling 51-39.
