Soccer Game Preview: Dr. Krop vs. Mourning

The Dr. Krop Lightning will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Mourning Sharks at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Dr. Krop is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Booker T. Washington. The Lightning never let the Tornadoes get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Tuesday.

Dr. Krop hit Booker T. Washington with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nicolas Weciorovski, Robson Geffrade, Nikita Mariichuk, and Tomas Silva-Chaparro.

Meanwhile, Mourning's season-opener on Tuesday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. Neither they nor North Miami could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
